IFA is the world’s largest Consumer Electronics trade fair, the most important international exhibition for electronic entertainment, communications and INFORMATION PRODUCTS. IFA represents the latest trend of consumer electronic products, and is as famous as CES. It has become the international platform of the communication of industry information, the exhibition of the latest products, the trading and showing of new achievements. Germany has a long history of exhibition, which have been over 800 years. IFA was founded in Berlin in 1924. IFA 2007 is the 47th of this TRADE fair.

This is the first time SMiT showing in IFA TRADE fair. With the three product lines-CAM, DTV and MTV exhibiting together, we enhanced our image as the Global Professional Provider of DTV Solutions. During the 6 days’ exhibition, there were a lot of enquires coming form different areas all over the world.

We exhibited our self-developed products in the IFA 2007, which include CA Modules: Viaccess/Irdeto/Cryptoworks/Conax/ChinaCrypt/Novel-Tongfang/DVN/StreamGuard/Compunicate; DTV Cards: ATV&DTV Board, ATV DTV Hybrid Board, Single Chip Board, totally 8 series; STB: H.264 decoding STB, totally 4 series; DVB-T iDTV: SD/HD; MTV products: Mobile Phone TV, Pocket TV, totally 2 series. With the full-series products and leading technology, SMiT has won great attention in the IFA hall.

SMiT’s visit to IFA 2007 has won a big success. During this INTERNATIONAL TRADE fair, we not only got a clear outline of the European and global DTV MARKET trend, which was significant for us to make future road map of our products, but also enhanced our brand name-SMiT. All of these assist us to keep our leadership in DTV industry in the European market.
