Bundled innovation: CI+ modules and smart cards bundle into a single integrated pre-matching solution

IBC, Amsterdam, September 6: Conax, a leading provider of optimal solutions for multi-device content distribution, announced the release of the industry's first CI+ cardless CAM (Conditional Receiver Module). This benchmarking solution is a collaboration between Conax and the world's largest conditional access module manufacturer, MicroTech, which combines a pre-matched Conax high-security smart card chip with a proven version of Micro-Technology. Bundled together, this combination of market-leading technology eliminates the need for smart cards or corresponding logistics. This revolutionary new solution is suitable for any CI or CI+ all-in-one TV and is ideal for a second TV in the consumer's home. Samples will be displayed at the IBC.

The new Conax CI+ cardless CAM is linked to a strategy developed by security providers earlier this year to develop an existing and new integrated partner program. After a full selection, Conax chose to partner with China Micro Technology to launch a new Conax Partner Program.
